Last year, the VW Passat received a full redesign, making it one of the most desirable family sedans on the market. With the arrival of the 2013 Volkswagen Passat TDI, the Passat becomes even more desirable with its diesel power. Diesel is more fuel-efficient than regular gas and diesel engines burn cleaner as well as provide more power to any vehicle.
The new Volkswagen Passat in Tacoma is built specifically for the U.S. in the U.S. Though it may be the only European car in its segment, it’s being built right here at home, with the extra fees attached to travel and imports.
In their review of the 2013 VW Passat TDI, Edmunds.com says, “On the move, the Passat has a confident, responsive personality while also remaining comfortable and usable. And since European automakers are big on diesel engines, it seems only natural that the Passat offers one: a 2.0-liter turbodiesel that gets very impressive fuel economy.”
